Subaru of Tacoma & Eastside Subaru Helps “Share the Love” in the Pacific Northwest.

-- Local Subaru Dealership Helps the Make a Wish Foundation in Alaska & Washington as Part of the Subaru ‘Fourth-Annual Share the Love’ Program --

Seattle, WA — Bruce Titus Eastside Subaru in Kirkland & Tacoma Subaru are supporting the Subaru “Share the Love” marketing campaign by donating $8,670.83 to the aid of the Make a Wish Foundation.

Based on the love Subaru owners have for their vehicles and their desire to help worthy causes, the Subaru “Share the Love” event, ran from November 19, 2011 to January 3, 2012, and allowed Subaru new vehicle customers to select from five charities to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America, following the vehicle purchase or lease.

Over the last four years the program has donated nearly $20 million to its partner organizations.  The five charities participating in the program this year are: American Forests, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals On Wheels Association of America, and Special Olympics.

Based on research that shows Subaru buyers have a strong affinity toward charitable donations to worthy causes, the campaign has been developed by the company’s brand agency, Carmichael Lynch to align that affinity to their vehicle purchase.

“We wanted to create a program that not only stands out from the crowd, but is also relevant to our customer’s value systems – that of giving back to the community,” said Bruce Titus from Bruce Titus Eastside Subaru & Tacoma Subaru.  “As you can see by the activity here today, we also reflect our customer’s values in doing the right thing.”
