1962 Jeep Gladiator
Each Friday on the Jeep® Blog, we explore the Jeep brand’s iconic heritage by highlighting a different historical vehicle. This week’s vehicle is the 1962 Jeep Gladiator.

We’re officially into a new decade – the 1960s – in our weekly Heritage Fridays blog series. To celebrate that, this week’s vehicle focus is on the Jeep Gladiator, the completely new “J” line of trucks that were introduced for the 1963 model year.

The Jeep Gladiator was nothing if not versatile, thanks to its range of available configurations. Fall Car Care - Transmission Service

In our continued efforts to educate consumers on the importance of maintaining your car, we are going to talk about your transmission.  Simply put, without a transmission your vehicle will not go.  Today's vehicles last longer and are less likely to break down.....true and false.  Today's vehicles are much more sophisticated than their ancestors and their regular maintenance is more important than ever.  With regular maintenance most new generation vehicles will go 200,000 miles without any major issues, but the key is regular maintenance.  Their are some simple facts with any vehicle, parts to wear with time and use and when they break, it costs sufficiently more to fix. While today's ABS brake systems require less maintenance, it does not mean you can just sit and forget them until they either fail, or start to grind.  As with any car maintenance people find it hard to spend the money on their vehicle.  But, it is much less expensive to perform regular maintenance than it is to have to…
